PT PANTAI INDAH KAPUK DUA TBK CSR ORGANIZES FREE EID HOMECOMING PROGRAM 2026, SUPPORTING SAFE AND COMFORTABLE TRAVEL FOR COMMUNITIES
In celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H, the Corporate Social Responsibility of PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PIK2) once again presents one of its most anticipated community initiatives, the Free Homecoming Program 2026. This program reflects the company’s care and commitment towards the community and its partners within the surrounding operational areas, enabling them to celebrate the festive season with their families in their hometowns safely, comfortably and without the burden of travel expenses.
The departure ceremony took place on 15 March 2026, with hundreds of participants setting off from Masjid Al-Ikhlas PIK aboard a fleet of buses that had undergone thorough roadworthiness inspections and were equipped with standard travel safety measures. Through this initiative, the company aims to ensure that participants can travel home in an orderly, safe, and comfortable manner until they reach their destinations.
This year, the Free Homecoming Program serves five main destinations across Java Island: Surakarta (Solo), Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, and Wonogiri. These cities were selected as they represent the hometowns of many workers and community members who live and work in areas surrounding the company’s development projects.
The program forms part of the company’s long-term commitment to delivering meaningful contributions to the community. In his remarks, Restu Mahesa, Estate Management Director of Agung Sedayu Group, expressed his hopes for the participants, “We hope that all of you here today will arrive safely at your destinations in good health and happiness. We should be grateful, and we hope initiatives like this will continue to reflect the spirit of collaboration and synergy between CSR PIK2 and Masjid Al-Ikhlas PIK, further empowering the community.”
Beyond easing the financial burden of travel, the program is also expected to reduce the risks associated with unsafe homecoming journeys, particularly for those who would otherwise rely on private vehicles that may not be in optimal condition.
The Free Homecoming Program 2026 stands as a tangible example of the company’s social responsibility in supporting community mobility during the Eid homecoming season. The company believes that regional development should not focus solely on infrastructure and economic growth, but must also go hand in hand with meaningful contributions to the social well-being of the surrounding communities.
Through a range of consistently implemented social initiatives, the CSR of PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk continues to deliver direct benefits to the public while strengthening the relationship between the company and the communities around it, especially during meaningful moments of togetherness such as Eid al-Fitr.
