SINCERE SHARING IN RAMADAN AGUNG SEDAYU GROUP SPREADS WARMTH AND CARE TO 500 ORPHANS
An atmosphere of emotion and joy filled Masjid Al-Ikhlas PIK on Friday, 27 February 2026. In the spirit of Ramadan 1447H, PIK2 as part of Agung Sedayu Group and Salim Group hosted the “Sincere Sharing in Ramadan” program, a meaningful initiative that brought together compassion and solidarity in a shared moment of togetherness with orphaned children.
Starting at 1:30 PM (WIB – Western Indonesia Time), cheerful faces began filling the mosque grounds. The event opened with traditional Islamic percussion chanting (hadroh) performances, creating a solemn yet heartwarming atmosphere. The children were then invited to take part in a variety of creative activities, including coloring booths, origami-making, and LEGO building. Laughter filled the air as they watched a movie together, creating simple yet heartfelt moments of togetherness that left a lasting impression.
The joyful atmosphere continued with an educational magic show by Kak Ibnu and an interactive storytelling session by Kak Iman, captivating the children while conveying meaningful messages of kindness. A lighthearted quiz session with exciting prizes further encouraged enthusiastic participation, allowing the children to learn positive values in a fun and engaging way.
As sunset approached, the atmosphere grew more serene. An inspiring Islamic sermon (tausiyah) by Ustaz (Islamic teacher) Romzi Ahmad touched hearts with messages about faith, good character, and the importance of sharing. The recitation of holy verses by the Quran reciter (qori) and female Quran reciter (sari tilawah) further deepened the sense of reverence before the Maghrib (sunset) call to prayer resonated, marking the moment for all participants to break their fast together.
As a tangible expression of care, Agung Sedayu Group distributed charitable donations to each orphan in attendance. The children also received souvenir packages titled “ASG Sharing Gift Package,” containing school bags and stationery, practical support for their educational needs as well as meaningful keepsakes.
On the occasion, President Director of Agung Sedayu Group, Lieutenant General of Letnan Jenderal TNI (Mar) (Purn.) Dr. Nono Sampono, S.Pi., M.Si., conveyed that the initiative is not merely an annual agenda, but a heartfelt calling. “In this blessed month, every good deed we perform, Insya Allah (God willing), will be multiplied in value. Through the Sincere Sharing in Ramadan program, Agung Sedayu Group aims to create a meaningful space of togetherness for the 500 orphans present today. This initiative goes beyond simply breaking the fast together. More than that, it reflects our sincere care and commitment to fostering happiness, bringing smiles, and creating a warm and unforgettable Ramadan experience,” he stated.
Nono Sampono further emphasized that within Agung Sedayu Group, social responsibility is not merely part of a program, but a core value upheld in conducting business. “We believe that a company that grows sustainably is one that grows alongside its community,” he added.
Through “Sincere Sharing in Ramadan,” Agung Sedayu Group once again demonstrated that corporate success is measured not only by physical development, but also by meaningful social contributions. The program stands as a testament to the company’s commitment to spreading empathy, strengthening bonds of togetherness, and reinforcing its image as a compassionate and socially responsible corporation.
In this blessed month, the simple joy reflected on the faces of the orphaned children serves as a reminder that sincere giving is a humanitarian investment of immeasurable value.
